About Megan

Megan DeWalt, OMT

Advanced Myofunctional Therapy is a national/international practice founded by Megan DeWalt in 2018. Megan was a Dental Hygienist for 14 years when she pursued her career as a Myofunctional Therapist through the Myo Mastery Program from Integrative Myofunctional Therapy in 2017. She continued her education by completing the ALF Education Institute (level 1 & 2), achieving her Buteyko Breathing Method Certification, becoming a Myo Munchee Certified Practitioner and has taken MNRI reflex integration courses. Most recently, she graduated from the Advanced Provider Mentorship Program with Airway Circle. She is also an active member of AAPMD, Airway Circle and the Denver Holistic Health Collective. Megan is originally from Chicago, IL but has built her adult life and career in Denver, CO due to her love of the mountains and passion for adventure. When she is not working with her myofunctional therapy clients, you can find her hiking, trail running, biking, skiing or being a yogi, usually with her husband and dog by her side!
